Chad Hall - President / Founder
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Chad graduated from Wesleyan School in the spring of 2004. A quarterback in high school, he chose to attend the Air Force Academy for two reasons: a top tier education and to play Division 1 football.
Upon his arrival to the Academy, Chad grew up fast. The military instilled a set of values and discipline which he continues to carry with him all of his life endeavors. These values, along with the bonds and friendships that he made while serving our country, make him thankful every day that the Air Force was the only Division 1 offer that he received.
A three-year starter as running back, Chad received 2nd Team all conference honors as a junior. His senior year, he received Mountain West Conference Player of the Year honors, was named a 2nd Team All American, awarded ESPN Player of the Week, Colorado College Athlete of the Year, and was honored to be considered as a candidate for the Heisman Trophy.
In May of 2008, his time at the Academy came to an end as he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management.
After graduation, Chad was immediately stationed at Salt Lake City as a 2nd Lieutenant. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer and the Accessory Flight Commander for the 388th Maintenance Group. Chad was eventually moved to the 421 Black Widows where he served as second in command of 300 troops and 28 F-16’s. During his service, he had one big dream, “I wanted to play in the NFL. I put my country and job first, but for two years, all my free time was spent training in the pursuit of my dream.”
Chad’s dream came true in May of 2010, when he was released by the Air Force to play professional football and signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chad spent the next two years with the Eagles organization where more dreams were granted. He scored his first NFL touchdown and had a career game against the Dallas Cowboys catching 6 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.
In November of 2012, Chad signed with the San Francisco 49er’s which allowed him the opportunity to win an NFC Championship in his hometown of Atlanta and play in a Super Bowl.
Chad spent the 2013 season with the Kansas City Chiefs and spent the 2014 preseason with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Currently, he is the Wide Receiver coach with the Buffalo Bills.
“While serving in the military, I was privileged to get to know many military families. These families and their commitment to our Country created a lasting impression. This impression is what drove the creation of Pigskin Patriots. Pigskin Patriots will create the much needed morale booster on military installations and positively effect the next generation of American warriors.” - Chad Hall
